I suppose a little about me and oneblacksock would be useful.

I’ve worked for 10 years for a few companies ranging from embedded devices through to web apps. I’ve managed to deal with pretty much the whole range of the internet world from portable digital radios through to multinational e-commerce websites.

As I’m progressing through my career I’m noticing more and more that all these companies and environments are all experiencing the same phenomenon; projects, be they large or small, always have that unknown factor. When I was a fresh graduate from university I just assumed that projects were planned and then they got done. Nothing could be further from the truth. In my experience, projects get planned, they start being done and then they shift underneath you, your plans have to change, you have to adapt.

One side effect of this change is jobs you weren’t anticipating suddenly need to be done, you might suddenly get a requirement for a micro-site, you might need to import some data from a new source – all of these little tasks need doing by someone and that’s where oneblacksock comes in. I realised that there is a niche in the market for an agency that just does the little things for you.

I’ve set up oneblacksock to handle pretty much any small job you night need doing. Small to us ranges from a simple tool to extract some data from google analytics, an interactive flash micro-site for a brand agency through to complete websites for authors.

Give me a shout at
